I touched myself

Double-You Tee Eff!?

Hey there cockfags!

Kerri, Danielle: You're the last team to arrive. I'm sorry to say you've both been eliminated from My Amazing Race.
I really liked THE AMAZING RACE 5. It's really funny and exciting and très Bruckheimer (he created the show). Well as you know AR5 ended this past September. To my shock and delight AMAZING RACE 6 starts on NOVEMBER 16! I wasn't expecting to see it until the Spring. Here are the new contestants.

What would be a blog post by me without mentioning STAR WARS?
You can check out three new photos from EPISODE III here. But the main thing I wanna say is that the trailer is released on November 5th in theatres, and will be on "the internets" a day before (although, not for free). I'll try and track down a download. At the time of this writing it's 203 days until it all ends (I'm sharpening some straight razors for the next day).

Ciao amici!

P.S. I just found this crazy news story about hobbit-sized people found by anthropolgists...

I watched it and it made me VERY excited......... . .. . . .. . . . . .

Makes me all puffy down there

Hey there honkeys! Welcome to this new edition of GeekTalk with your host, Jimjam.

Is THIS a new teaser banner for EPISODE III that we can expect to see in SilverCities later this fall? And are THESE stills and artwork from the movie?

Trey Parker talking about giving a disclaimer to his family before watching TEAM AMERICA:

Sat them down and said it is really offensive and they are like 'oh we know Trey' and I am like 'no you don't know'. This one is really offensive.

Sony is cashing in with a SPIDER-MAN 2.5 DVD. Still won't ever be as cool as an EXTENDED EDITION of LOTR. Hahahahahahha.

Before you die you see the Ring, too! HERE is a trailer for RING TWO. It's big and is in QuickTime.

Brosnan is OUT from the next Bond movie.

Spirit Bear

I know this is really kinda nerdy of me, but I wanted to spread the good word.

This guy I met last year is the head of the Spirit Bear Youth Coalition which is trying to save the Spirit Bear ( a white sub-species of black bear found only in BC) by preserving the island they live on from logging.

Anywho, as part of his campaign, they're actually making a full-length animated film - CGI I believe. They've got some big names on board, including producers from movies like The Lion King and The Little Mermaid. So the idea of this movie is to put back a portion of the profits into securing the rest of the Spirit Bear habitat.

So I just wanted to point it out, and I think it's also amazing because Simon - the dude I know who's heading all of this, is only 22! Wish I was organizing my first Hollywood film by next year.

Anyway, check out the site if you like - the movie is still in development stages, but the site will allow people to watch it develop from the beginning - kinda a neat process to see.

So whenever it comes out, I've decided to see it like three times openning weekend.
Oh yeah, and he's also trying to get Vancouver to have the Spirit Bear as the Olympic Mascot in 2010, which would be pretty awesome. He's a good dude.

Moist as a snack cake

At DARK HORIZONS you can watch a few behinds the scenes clips with Matt & Trey by clicking on the TEAM AMERICA images on the main page. They're really funny and are only about the making of the movie--there are no more spoilers that what you would learn from the trailer.

As for when we should go...

Friday works for me but if we want to make it into an event then Saturday sounds perfect. This is gonna be sooooo good. I can sense it.

ALEXANDER

The film site has officially opened with some neat photos and of course that really awesome trailer that makes me moist as a snackcake down there. Details.

Go Team!

Plans for Team America? Times? Place? RSVP?
All's I know is it opens next Friday, the 15th. I may or may not be going to see Dracula that night, we'll see.

We should get a calendar function on here somehow so we can see upcoming events at a glance. I"m horrible with dates.

According to tvshowsondvd.com you can expect the DVD release of South Park - Season 5 on Nov. 9th, following a delay from an earlier planned street date in October. We're not sure if this is the set date, we'll post news as soon as we get it.

Contributor contributions

This morning as I was fixing myself some breakfast I thought of a few other things we could discuss around here - Like when we get to have our next private viewings, AKA watching movies in Pepper's basement. I believe next on the schedule is Return of the Jedi.

I think I have to go to my Grandparents' place on either Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday of this coming week, so once I know what day, we can maybe try to make better plans. My vote right now is for either Monday or Wednesday, depending on my visit situation.

Cheers,
Kerri
