So I've pretty much finished the home renovations, so here are some of the pics from last week, pain up, furniture in place, and some lovely wall hangings. Still wanna clear up some of the clutter, but that'll have to wait until after exams.

So this is the view looking in from the doorway of the bed and lovely Six Trees art work.




And this here is the view of my cluttered desk, with lillies above. It's surprising how well the light blue pastel colour matches my wall - I think the pastel companies planned it that way for me.



Anywho, that's probably it for room updates, any other additions will be small, and spaced out cuz I'm officially out of funds.

One Month Remains

Now that I got that first part off my chest, I'd like to mark this special day as we slowly/surely approach what I used to call a "life event" (I was later informed that I probably mean to say "milestone"). This milestone/life event I am referring to is none other than the conclusion of the Star Wars Saga! ooohs/aahs etc.

After some reflection, I found this images on my computer. Please enjoy. It's on me, honkeys!

On Friday, I got my third "Art of Star Wars" book, the one for Revenge of the Sith. It's so cool, but I musn't read it until after seeing the film. I flipped through some random pages. I love the artwork so much--it's the reason I bought those grayscale drawing markers.

Just posting some more update photos - the renovations have been much more stressful than i thought - mostly just because i've been doing it all myself though. I think they must have secret helpers on all those makeover shows, because this stuff is time consuming.

Hiya folks -

As per James' request, I'm gonna post a few pictures of my ultimate bedroom makeover process - aka - the disaster that is me trying to re-paint my bedroom walls all by myself.

Yesterday I managed to clear my bookshelf and dresser out of the room for more space, and then move my desk and bed into the centre so i can get at the walls. Then I took down the lovely mid-nineties border which I chose in Gr. 7.

I was hoping to go buy the paint today, though I still haven't totally decided which colour I want either en eveninn-type purple, or a light denim-like blue. I need somethign that'll go with my new dark blue bed set.

Lesson of the day? Kerri owns all together too much crap.

I live for hype: May Movie Mayhem is COMING!!!

"The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy movie is bad. Really bad. You just won't believe how vastly, staggeringly, jaw-droppingly bad it is. I mean, you might think that The Phantom Menace was a hopelessly misguided attempt to reinvent a much-loved franchise by people who, though well-intentioned, completely failed to understand what made the original popular - but that's just peanuts to the Hitchhiker's movie."

This is part of a review from a die-hard fan. So hopefully the film is still as magical as it looks. I remember I had a blast at PHANTOM MENACE so we'll see if I can ride the hype just as well for this film, because I'm really looking forward to it...

"My biggest fault with the casting can probably be guessed. To be sure, I like Orlando Bloom and I think he is a good actor with a great career ahead of him, but does he have the gravitas to carry a film like this at this point in his career? In my opinion, no."

Shit it's like we can't catch a break. The movie was directed by Ridley scott and I really like him. It's supposed to look great so we'll see if the substance is there I guess....
